Social Media Manager

With the Social Media Manager GENI writes a post shaped to the platform, with the character count attached, and stages it to go out at a chosen moment.

Available from Growth. No connection needed to write; one is needed to actually post.

What can GENI do with it?

  • Write a post for LinkedIn, Instagram, X or Facebook, with hashtags and a character count against that platform's limit
  • Schedule a post at a date and time, once or recurring (daily, weekdays, weekly, monthly)

Every platform has its own limit, and GENI writes towards it:

Platform Character limit
X 280
Instagram 2,200
LinkedIn 3,000
Facebook 63,206

Example: what you ask, what you get

Write a LinkedIn post about the De Krent go-live

LinkedIn (847/3,000 characters)

Last week De Krent's new site went live, POS integration included.

The interesting part was not the site but what sits underneath it: web shop orders now land in the till automatically, and stock runs back the other way. No double entry, no evenings spent retyping.

What struck me during this project: the win was not in the technology but in cutting three manual steps that had "always been there".

Where are those steps in your business?

#hospitality #automation #pos

Shall I schedule it for Tuesday 09:00? For B2B that is usually the strongest moment.

Requirements

  • Plan: Growth and up
  • Connection: none to write. To post you need that platform's connection, for example LinkedIn or Instagram DM

Activating

  1. Go to Dashboard -> Skills and activate Social Media Manager
  2. Ask for a post for a specific platform
  3. To have it posted automatically, connect the platform through Dashboard -> Connectors

What it costs

Action Credits
Write a post 2
Schedule a post 5

See The credit system.

Limits

  • Writing and posting are two things. Without a connected platform you get ready-made text you paste yourself.
  • No images. Generating one is possible with AI Image Generation, but the image is not attached to the post automatically.
  • No statistics. Reach, likes and replies come from the platform itself.
  • No replying to comments. The platform skills handle that.
  • A scheduled post counts against your task slots: Free 0, Starter 1, Growth 5, Pro 10, Business 20.

Troubleshooting

The post is too long. Name the platform when asking, and GENI writes straight to the right limit.

It sounds like everyone else. Give an example of your own tone, or put your writing style in your memory.

The scheduled post was not published. Without a connected platform it cannot post; only a task with the text is staged.

The hashtags do not match my market. Name three you always use and it keeps to those.

Frequently asked questions

Does it post to LinkedIn itself? Only with the LinkedIn connection active. Without it, it writes and schedules, and you paste.

Can I send one message to several platforms? Yes, ask for a version per platform. You get separate texts, because 280 characters on X reads differently from 3,000 on LinkedIn.

What is the difference with Content Repurposing? That one cuts existing content into several posts. This skill writes one, on purpose.

Can I schedule a series? Yes, with a recurring frequency, for example every weekday at 09:00.
