Projects

Projects are available from the Growth plan.

With Projects you organise your AI assistant's work into separate workspaces. Each project has its own context, tasks and history, so GENI always knows what it is working on.

What are projects?

A project is a dedicated workspace for a specific goal:

  • A client, all tasks, emails and research for that client in one place
  • A campaign, track what is done and what still needs doing
  • A recurring workflow, the same tasks each week, with accumulated context

Your assistant always works in the context of the active project, it knows what was done before and the current state.

How do projects work?

  1. Go to Dashboard -> Assistant -> Projects
  2. Click "New project"
  3. Give the project a name
  4. Start a conversation in the project, your assistant works in that context

All conversations and tasks in a project are kept. You can review later, request a summary or continue where you left off.

Project instructions

Each project has its own instructions, extra context the assistant automatically receives for every conversation in that project.

How to set them:

  1. Hover over a project in the sidebar
  2. Click the gear icon
  3. Type your project instructions in the text field
  4. Click Save

What to put in:

  • Which client or assignment the project is about
  • Desired tone (formal / informal / concise)
  • Brand guidelines or house style
  • Specific way of working or rules for this project

Example:

This project is about client De Krent Bakery. Always use a formal tone.
Never forget to state the next step after each task.
Brand colour: #c8a96e (gold). Audience: hospitality professionals.

Project instructions are combined with your global knowledge document, your personal info (name, company, way of working) is always present, the project adds the specific context on top.

Moving conversations

Drag conversations in and out of project folders (desktop). On mobile use the "..." menu next to a conversation -> Move to.

Memory per project

Your assistant remembers what was done in a project: earlier commands, fetched information and research, ongoing tasks and their status, agreements and decisions.

Example: you start a project for client "De Krent Bakery". A week later you ask: "What did we agree last time?", your assistant gives an instant overview.

Projects and the Knowledge base

Combine Projects with the Knowledge base for maximum context. Upload client documents, briefings or product info, your assistant uses that information automatically for every task in that project.

Typical use cases

Use case What you put in the project instructions
Client work Client name, desired tone, brand guidelines
Content creation Platform (LinkedIn vs Instagram), audience, style guide
Sales campaign Product, ICP, follow-up style, off-limits topics
Internal project Team agreements, deadline, reporting format

Deleting projects

Go to Dashboard -> Assistant -> Projects, click the project and choose "Delete". All history in that project is permanently removed.
