With the Renewal skill GENI looks at your client base and points out who needs attention: contracts running out and clients who have gone quiet.
Available from Pro.
What can GENI do with it?
- Run a renewal scan across your clients and surface the five most urgent
- Write a re-engagement message for a client you want to approach again
The value is in that first step. Losing clients rarely happens with a bang; it happens because nobody noticed it had been quiet for four months.
Example: what you ask, what you get
Which clients need attention?
Top 5, by urgency
Client Signal Bakkerij De Krent Contract ends in 3 weeks, no contact since May Installatiebedrijf Jansen Four months quiet, was monthly before that Studio Noord Maintenance contract ended, not renewed Van Dijk BV Last invoice 40% below usual De Vries Asked about expansion in June, never followed up De Vries is the most concrete opportunity: they asked themselves. Shall I draft a message for that one?
Requirements
- Plan: Pro and up
- Connection: none required; a CRM connection makes the scan richer
Activating
- Go to Dashboard -> Skills and activate Renewal and Upsell
- Ask for a scan, or name a specific client
What it costs
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| Renewal scan, top 5 clients | 150 |
| Write a re-engagement message | 300 |
See The credit system.
Limits
- It sends nothing on its own. You get a draft; sending is yours or through Gmail, with confirmation.
- The scan works on what it can see. Without a CRM connection or recorded client data the analysis is thin.
- These are signals, not certainties. A quiet client may simply be busy.
- Top 5 per scan. For a full overview run it more often or use your CRM.
- No amounts or forecasts. It says who needs attention, not what it is worth.
Troubleshooting
The scan yields little. GENI needs client data. Connect your CRM or record client contacts in your memory or workspace.
The signals are wrong. Say what counts as needing attention for you; some clients are seasonal and that is not an alarm.
The message is too salesy. Ask for a short, genuine check-in rather than an offer. That usually works better with quiet clients.
The same clients keep coming back. That is correct while nothing has changed. Follow up or mark them as handled in your workspace.
Frequently asked questions
Can I run this monthly? Yes, as a scheduled task. That is exactly what this skill is for: a short list once a month instead of never getting round to it. See Scheduled tasks.
Does it work without a CRM? To a limited extent. It then uses what is in your memory and workspace.
What is the difference with the Reputation Engine? That asks clients for a review. This skill flags clients at risk of dropping away. See Reputation Engine.
Can it make an offer itself? It writes the message; what you offer and at what price is yours to decide.
